Camping Valle Gaia is a quiet haven in the Tuscan countryside, shaded by mature pine, olive and eucalyptus trees, the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The site is small, peaceful and beautifully kept - the hedge-lined emplacements, arranged in gentle terraces down the hillside are well shaded from the hot sun.
Relax at the side of one of the two pools, and treat yourself to an ice cream from the snack bar, or enjoy a meal in one of the two excellent restaurants. Sample a delicious Italian pizza on the flower bedecked terrace of the pizzeria. Alternatively, head to the traditional Tuscan restaurant, housed in a converted stone farmhouse which offers a fantastic array of local specialities. Valle Gaia is a superb base for exploring this beautiful region.

From the north,
take the A12 in the direction of Roma (Rome) and then follow signs to Cecina.
Exit onto the SS1 at Cecina Centro and *at the big roundabout take the last exit, to Casale Marittimo.
After 1.5km take the left turn at the crossroads and follow signs to Valle Gaia for about 3km before turning right into the campsite which is clearly signposted.
From Pisa Airport,
exit from Via delle Colombaie onto the Str. Gde. Communic Firenze- Pisa-Livorno.
Take the A12, direction Livorno.
Exit towards Rosigano Marittimo, Roma and take the A12-E80 past Livorno for 44km. (Toll is approximately €4.50).
Follow signs for Cecina.
Exit the A12-E80 onto the SS1 at Cecina Centro and follow directions as above from*.
From the south,

Local Area
Camping Valle Gaia is located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, two miles from the picturesque village of Casale Marittimo, with a small selection of shops and restaurants. The large resort of Cecina, with a sandy beach is four miles away. Here there are a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants as well as excellent public transport links to the rest of Tuscany.
Children will love Aqua il Parco at Cecina Mare (10mins), which has a whole host of waterpark activities to keep everyone wet and happy. Visit the impressive Grotto del Vento, located near to Barga, where you will find stalactites and stalagmites.
