Adria camp site in Ankaran is located in a narrow part of Slovenia on the Adriatic Sea, between the beautiful Istrian peninsular (Croatia) and the town of Trieste in the most easterly part of Italy. A wonderful region for camping holidays with sun, sea and sand, but also an area with plenty of lovely places to discover. The Slovenian lakes and mountains, the unspoilt countryside and the coast with the old harbour town of Koper, from where boats depart to Ancona and Brindisi. Koper is just a few kilometres from the camp site.
Camping Adria itself is a very big camp site but thanks to the many trees and pathways it has a friendly and intimate feel.

The amenities are what you would expect from a complete camp site: there are good toilet facilities, a shop, supermarket, bars, restaurants, tennis courts, minigolf, table tennis, a wellness centre, playground, beach showers and even a first aid post. The main attraction at the camp site is the giant (sea water) swimming pool with spectacular slides and separate pools for smaller swimmers.
