A small parc set in the grounds of a beautiful 19th century chateau.

La Foret is a ten-minute walk from the village of St Julien-des-Landes, with a peaceful, rural setting in the parklands of a chateau. It has the feel of a country estate, offering shady pitches and facilities for the whole family.

There’s plenty of space for the children to play, and two pools set either side of the chateau. There are three lakes for fishing and attractively converted ivy-clad stables house the bar and all of the main facilities.

Local Area

This coast is renowned for its fabulous sandy beaches. In the evening, head for Les Sables d’Olonne, half an hour’s drive to the south with promenade, bars and restaurants. The lovely resort of Bretignolles-sur-Mer, eight miles away, is home to Vendee Miniature.

Aquarium La Rochelle
Large aquarium with fish from around the world. An array of different viewing methods from tanks, torch pools and panoramic tunnels.


Le Grand Parc
A reconstruction of an 18th century village with villagers in costume. The ruins of a 13th century chateau where you can watch a fabulous falconry display or see the Vikings at war. You can spend hours wandering the grounds and gardens. The evening show is an incredible open-air night show with 850 people and 50 horsemen.


Zoo des Sables d'Olonne
Only a short distance from the enormous Atlantic beaches, the zoo at Les Sables d'Olonne is the home to hundreds of animals living in a luxurious setting. Animals include penguins, monkeys, otters, lions, tigers and pandas.

Chateau de Talmont St Hilaire
Located on a rock, surrounded by water, the fortress of Talmont played an important part in the defense of Poitou against the invading Normans. Years later, several kings of France were made welcome along with Richard the Lion Heart during the crusade years. Nowadays you can attend medieval demonstrations during the festival period.


Oceanile
This waterpark in the heart of Noirmoutier is over 37000m and has more than 20 aquatic amusements. With slides and waves there is plenty to ensure that the whole family is entertained.


Le Velo Rail
This journey through the countryside is on a 'velo rail' which runs on old train lines. 10 kilometres of track can be explored for up to 4 hours.

Our Grand 34 3B is unique. The lounge, kitchen and dining area have been designed as one space and the large master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a second bedroom, bunk room and second bathroom with toilet and shower. Our sites at Pals, Argelès, Vias and Roquebrune now have accommodation with air conditioning for added comfort. Supernova Mobile Home - sleeps 7

The main feature of the Supernova is the fully-fitted open-plan kitchen and lounge. It's designed to create the impression that the lounge/dining area is a separate living space to maximise space and light. The lounge has a light modern decor with everything provided from a framed picture on the wall to a stereo radio-cassette. Please note that this accommodation type on different campsites may differ in decor and layout.

5.2m x 5.2m (17' x 17')
290' sq, 27 1/2 m2. Kitchen with fully enclosed storage units and work surface. Full size fridge with freezer compartment. 4 burner cooker with grill. Electric socket with safety cut out. Electric lights in kitchen and dining areas.

Tree Houses

Each tree house has been cleverly constructed around the trunk of the tree and is around 4-5 metres from the ground. Access is via a spiral staircase and they come equipped with 4 single beds and one double bed under a thatched, pitched roof. A large decked terrace with table and chairs means you can relax and watch the world go by from your lofty position.

In addition, we also provide you with a Frontier Tent beneath the treehouse for the duration, so if you wish you can always come back down to earth. Each Frontier Tent is fully equipped with self catering equipment as well as enough room to sleep 6 should you all want a night on terra firma! (Please note - the tents are pitched on the nearest pitches to the Treehouse Villages. This can sometimes be up to 750m away.)
