Camping Sylvamar is part of the Yelloh! Village chain of parcs. The excellent facilities, located away from our accommodation, include a lagoon style waterpark complete with waterslides and lazy river, overlooked by the modern restaurant and bar terrace.

It is just a fifteen minute walk or cycle to the fine sandy beaches of this area, and watersports facilities are widely available. Whilst there is plenty to do at this well maintained parc, the Les Landes forest is perfect for cyclists.

Parc rules are strictly enforced for the benefit and comfort of all guests. The parc has a new indoor children’s pool and spa, sauna and wellness centre, some new facilities are chargable.

Local Area

Close to the border with Spain, the area is rich in tradition and folklore. Dax, one of the oldest spa towns in France, is close by with its famous hot water fountains. The beaches close to stylish Biarritz attract many surfing enthusiasts, with some of the best waves around.

Le Petit Train de la Rhune
This is an old funicular railway of 3 cars that takes tourists 900 metres to the top of La Rhune. On clear days there are magnificent views of the area and of the Pyrenees. A return trip takes approximately 2 hours although it is possible to walk either up or down. There is a small restaurant at the arrival and departure points

Our Grand 34 3B is unique. The lounge, kitchen and dining area have been designed as one space and the large master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a second bedroom, bunk room and second bathroom with toilet and shower. Our sites at Pals, Argelès, Vias and Roquebrune now have accommodation with air conditioning for added comfort. Please note that this accommodation type on different campsites may differ in decor and layout.

Our Villagrand Deluxe with 3 bedrooms offers the ultimate in mobile home comfort and style. It also offers the added luxury of 2 bathrooms, both with shower and toilet.

Villanova Mobile Home - sleeps 7

The Villanova features an open plan lounge/dining area and bathroom with shower and toilet, and comes of course with a fully equipped kitchen with a full size-fridge freezer. Some units are badged on-site as Villaclassic. These mobiles are slightly smaller (8m x 3m), but feature free decking
